As the number of vehicles increase on our
highways, freeways, and roads, and as the price of gasoline rises above $4 a gallon,
every effort should be looked at to minimize traffic congestion and commute time.
While no invention can erase the commotion of emergency vehicles and the related
slowdown at an accident scene, by covering the actual damage to vehicles involved in
the accident, the amount of time
motorists spend rubbernecking the accident is anticipated to be reduced.
Our patented TC CoverTM covers the physical damage to one or more
vehicles involved in a traffic accident.
Emergency personnel who arrive first on the scene
and after ensuring the safety of those involved in the accident,
can quickly cover one or more vehicles or parts of vehicles using our
TC Cover to hide the damage done in an accident.
This allows traffic to flow past the accident scene quicker,
which allows additional emergency vehicles to arrive sooner,
and allows the accident to be cleared in less time.
This increases traffic flow, clears the accident sooner, and
helps to minimize the time emergency personnel are put at risk at the accident scene itself.
Above, a two vehicle accident is shown.
In this example, the highway patrol uses two TC Covers to cover vehicle 10 completely and vehicle 12 partially.
By using two TC Covers to restrict the view of the physical damage to the vehicles involved
in the traffic accident, traffic flows past the accident scene faster, which in turn, may allow the
additional emergency vehicles to arrive at and clear the accident scene faster.
TC Cover is anticipated to pay for itself on the very first use in major cities.
With traffic backed up for miles, gasoline costing over $4/gallon, and lost time and productivity of motorists, the overall cost of an accident adds up rather quickly.
This invention also helps clean the air by reducing idle times and delays due to traffic accidents.
